A survey of the boiler in Teplárna Otrokovice (Otrokovice Heating Plant) company was performed using laser scanning with a color cloud on output. A vector model was created from the acquired data as a basis for upcoming project activities. The boiler is about 30 meters high and covers an area of approximately 8 × 15 m in a sectional plan view. The total volume of the area of interest involving the boiler and its surroundings is 13,000 cubic meters.
